The stoic bear who guards the shore
Swore an oath, so says the lore
To wait for mother who crumbled in
In search of food presumed by him
A millennia has past away
Since that dark and stormy day
And still he waits upon the edge
Where was made his valiant pledge
When once again she’s by his side
Her heart will swell with loving pride
Done well he has o’er yesteryore
The stoic bear who guards the shore
Now that was an amazing retelling of an old legend!
Thank you for bringing life to this relic I grew up with.

I’ll delete the links if you want, even the post, if I overstepped. I don’t know the legend, but I’ve been thinking about the picture since I saw it, and I wanted a story (:

Please don’t!
It’s an amazing rendition and that’s the beauty of storytelling. Please keep it up.

It sounded almost metaphysical to me, was why I was going to ask if there was a specific inspiration for it…
